“Where people
and nature
flourish.”
Want to try your hand at gardening and horticulture? Amber Seasons is a part of our disability services community projects, opening up a world of opportunities to learn more about the great outdoors, develop gardening skills, and see real results!
Set in the beautiful countryside, Amber Seasons is an ‘off-grid’, solar-powered area, which works closely with nature to provide an eco-friendly solution to generating power, heat and light.
Our 200 sqm car park area was created using an ‘EasyGrid System’, which allows us to grow grass throughout the area, minimising our visual impact.
We also have two shipping containers, clad in wooden slats, providing us with a 20ft storage area and a 32ft site office, situated next to the car park.
To celebrate the Queen’s upcoming platinum Jubilee, we are taking part in the “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee” project! We have even put in an application to get our hands on a beautiful selection of fruit and wildlife trees!
From planting seeds to pruning plants, you can really get stuck in with Amber Seasons.
Our Projects have included:
- Building bat boxes for Wyre Forest
- Planting a vineyard
- Growing fruits and vegetables
- Bug house building
- Sunflower competitions!
