At Amber Seasons, growth is more than just what happens in the soil – it is what we see every day in the people who take part in our outdoor programme.
From teamwork and creativity to independence and confidence, our clients are learning and flourishing in ways that go far beyond gardening.
This month, our spotlight is on planter-making. Clients have worked together to design, build and fill their own wooden planters, choosing plants they would like to care for and watching them grow. The activity brought out real moments of collaboration – measuring, drilling, painting, and planting – with clients supporting each other every step of the way. It has been fantastic to see the pride in their finished work, as well as the laughter, conversation and shared problem-solving that went into each stage of the process.
Whether it was someone picking up a power tool for the first time or offering a hand to steady a friend’s project, these moments capture the spirit of Amber Seasons beautifully.
Amber Seasons continues to provide meaningful, hands-on experiences that promote wellbeing, independence, and life skills. We look forward to seeing what grows next.🌻
