Supportive Technology

“Embracing the
power of
technology.”

Here at Amber Support, we have adopted some fantastic technology to enhance the quality of disability support we provide for our clients. Selected to benefit both our team and the people we support; our technology gives us all the tools to do our job effectively.

Promoting Independence

From video doorbells to voice recognition devices, we use technology in a way that actively helps our clients to live life as independently as possible.

Saving Money

Introducing state-of-the-art technology into our Support Plans allows us to cut costs in the long-term, meaning more of our clients’ budgets can be put towards other aspects of support, such as our Day Service, Community Projects and Activities.

Digital Records System: NOAH

As an 85% paper-free organisation, we rely on our secure digital records system, ‘NOAH’, which provides us with up-to-date, ‘real time’ information and allows us to respond to clients’ needs quickly.

We can even compare accurate data to further improve the care we give, and minimise risks by establishing timetables and routines. Plus, with the ability to give Amber employees certain permissions, our clients can access their own records in their own time, on a need-to-know basis.

eLearning: Hugo

Hugo is our eLearning centre, where our team can access training to further improve the service they provide. Everyone in our team is encouraged to use this platform to not only help Amber reach its objectives, but also to promote personal growth.

Better Outcomes

We are huge advocates for embracing digital technology that will benefit the disability support we provide. Technology in healthcare is growing in importance and, here at Amber, we understand the importance of harnessing its power. We continuously work with suppliers to improve our systems and ensure they are all fit for purpose. And, in doing so, we can track outcomes and take our standard of care to the next level.
